Please read these terms carefully before using this website or joining our waitlist. By submitting a form on maara.care, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Maara is a pre-launch postpartum care platform, building a network of vetted doulas, lactation consultants, physiotherapists, therapists and home helpers to support new mothers in the UK during the first six weeks after birth ("the fourth trimester").
2. Our current stage — waitlist only
Maara is not yet a live, bookable service. This website currently allows you to (a) join a waitlist as a prospective client, or (b) apply to join our founding provider network as a carer. No booking, payment, or care arrangement is made through this website at this stage. Joining the waitlist or submitting an application does not guarantee you a place, a booking, or a job with Maara.
3. Using this website
- You must be 18 or over to submit any form on this site.
- You agree to provide accurate information in any form you submit.
- You must not use this site for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to disrupt, hack, or misuse our forms or systems.
4. Carer applications
If you apply to join Maara as a carer, submitting the application form does not create any contract of employment or engagement. All applicants will be subject to identity checks, an enhanced DBS check (or evidence of a willingness to obtain one), reference checks, and an induction, before being invited to provide care through Maara.
5. No medical advice
Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. Content relating to postnatal depression, the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, postpartum psychosis or any other health topic is provided for general information only. If you are concerned about your physical or mental health, or that of someone else, please contact your GP, midwife, health visitor, or — in an emergency — call 999 or go to A&E. The Samaritans (116 123, free, 24/7) are also available if you need to talk to someone urgently.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, design, and the Maara name and branding — belongs to Maara or its licensors. You may not copy or reproduce it without our permission.
7. Liability
This website and its content are provided "as is" while we build Maara. We give no guarantee of a launch date, availability in your area, or that joining the waitlist will result in access to our service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Maara develops from a waitlist into a live service, at which point fuller terms covering bookings, payments, cancellations and carer contracts will apply. We'll always post the current version here.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
